Winter Schedule

Our winter schedule, which runs through February 28, has some exciting additions:

  • Yoga Nidra with Teresa Andersen-Maltbie. This sweet practice returns as a regular class Sundays, noon–1:15 p.m. It’s the perfect tool for relaxation and balance during the busy holiday weeks.
  • Iyengar Yoga with Helen Chandler. This method helps each student find optimal alignment in a measured way. Helen teaches:
    • Continuing level I/II Mondays and Thursdays, 9:30–11:00 a.m.
    • Beginner Iyengar Yoga, an open series, Wednesdays, 5:45–7:15 p.m.
  • Flow Yoga with Jenni Tarma, Mondays, noon–1:00 p.m.

Yoga 102

In these 6-week series classes you will enhance your current practice by developing physical skills, mental awareness, and energetic compassion. Carolina Yoga Teacher Training

We offer a comprehensive yoga teacher training program at Carrboro Yoga, with offerings at both the 200-hour and the 500-hour level. You needn’t want to teach to enjoy the program; about half of our 200-hour-level students enjoy the yoga immersion experience as a means to deepen their own understanding and practice. Coming this winter: a nine-week weekday hybrid that meets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 9 a.m.–2 p.m., January 10–March 9, 2017.  Read all about it →
